In May 2009, I graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and an additional major in Human-Computer Interaction. I was awarded the Judith Resnik - Challenger Scholarship by CMU as well as a National Merit Scholarship. While at CMU I received a Small Undergraduate Research Grant to study the feasibility of parallel computing clusters for commercial use.

I also was selected to participate in the Pennsylvania Governor's School for Information Technology (PGSIT). While attending I placed 1st in a team programming competition, and led workshops on Perl, RegEx, CSS, and HTML.
